This mural was commissioned to pay homage to the tradition of the Maypole. The era depicted is the late 1800s. It is on a wall adjacent to the Bubbles and Bows shop on Lang St, Kurri Kurri. It was painted with acrylic on both brick and weatherboard and also upon some of the drainage pipes adorning the wall.
